Bengt ”Beppe” G. Karlsson, professor of social anthropology in Stockholm, with long-term research and teaching in northeastern India, was in Bhutan on a consulting mission in 2015 . He has not been back yet, but in 2020 during the Covid restrictions he gave a lecture remotely to students and teachers at Royal Thimpu College, part of their program in political science and sociology Skepseis. The topic was ”Food Sovereignty and Indigenous Crops in Eastern Himalayas”.
