Mölnlycke and Samtse – the collaboration continues

Båtsmansskolan in Mölnlycke and Samtse Lower Secondary School, SLSS, are continuing their development collaboration in a new school project. The project is co-financed by the Swedish Council for Higher Education through their Atlas program. The project period starts already this autumn, but due to Corona, the schools will have to wait with visits to each other until the travel restrictions have been relaxed.

During the past school year, students at the schools have met via Skype on a couple of occasions. The students have discussed how the school works in Bhutan and in Sweden, what you as a youth do in your free time and what their future dreams are. The digital meetings worked very well.

During the ”student’s choice”, the students at Båtsmansskolan have learned about ”happiness” and the Bhutanese Gross National Happiness. They have also prepared among other things, Ema Datse.
