The Erasmus+ exchange between Uppsala University, the Department of Information Technology and the College of Science and Technology in Phuentsholing also continued last autumn. The four new students were also treated to Swedish fika at the well-known Landings café, as in previous years.
And at the end of November, the chairman invited them to the Stockholm Rotary Clubs’ Christmas party at the Odd Fellow house in Stockholm with the traditional Lucia candlelight procession and singing by Kungsholmen’s music classes.
After that, they were given an impromptu tour of Bååtska palace, the Freemasons’ historic headquarters, by a high-ranking Freemason who is also a Rotarian.
