International Foundation for Science grantee in Rimini, Italy

Anooja Nair, a senior lecturer at the College of Natural Resources in Lobesa, received a research grant from the International Foundation for Science in Stockholm (www.ifs.se) in 2018 to investigate the presence of listeria in the traditional cheese datse and possible antibiotic resistance. She also received a travel grant this year to attend the twenty-second IUFoST World Congress in Rimini, Italy. IUFOST, the International Union of Food Science and Technology, brings together around one hundred national associations in these sectors.
